Book Week

On Tuesday, we came together for our annual Book Week celebrations, recognising the power of literature to inspire, educate and open our minds to worlds beyond our own.

This year’s theme, ‘A Symphony of Stories’, provided plenty of inspiration for some creative costumes.

At our assembly, staff and Year 12 students showcased their creativity and love of literature in our annual Book Week Costume Parade. Heroes, villains, creatures, wizards and celebrities brought a splash of colour to the College for the day.

Our Learning Hub also organised a range of activities, giving staff and students the opportunity to put their literature knowledge to the test and get involved in the celebrations.

Book Week is a wonderful reminder of the enduring value of reading and the way stories can enrich our knowledge, challenge our thinking and shape our understanding of the world.
