Leader of Year 7 Wellbeing
Ms Jennifer Allan
What a whirlwind of a term it has been for our Year 7 cohort! From the daily buzz of high school life to special community events, our students have shown commendable enthusiasm, energy, and growth over the past few weeks.
One of the standout moments this term was our school Eucharistic Procession. It was a wonderful day of shared faith, reverence, and community spirit. Seeing our Year 7 students participate so respectfully alongside others schools in our community and parishioners was inspiring. The sense of unity and reverence during the procession provided a meaningful pause in what has otherwise been a very fast-paced term.
Congratulations to all students for approaching their assessments with maturity and determination. Preparing for and completing high school assessments is a skill that takes time to develop, and every student should feel proud of the grit they demonstrated throughout the week.
As assessment results finalised, now is the ideal time to take a step back and reflect. It is important to remember that a grade is simply a snapshot of performance at a single point in time, it does not define a student's entire ability or potential.
When reviewing results together at home, we encourage students to pay close attention to teacher feedback:
To make the most of the upcoming term, students should use their feedback to set two or three clear, actionable goals. Having focused targets helps turn feedback into improvement.
Rest up over the break, recharge your batteries, and come back ready to tackle the new term with confidence!
