September, 2026 - FACT: Those who have goals are 10 times more likely to succeed than those without goals.

As we farewell our Year 12 students this week, I reflect on what a remarkable group of students our Graduates of 2026 are. We have had many great success stories over the year, from students receiving Early Admission and Scholarship offers, being named finalists and winners of NSW Training Awards, and most recently the announcement of Excellence in VET Award. This year the ceremony was held at Parliament House. This prestigious award went to Year 12 student Millie Leijen. Millie will complete her HSC with several VET qualifications, including Certificate II Cookery, Certificate III Business Services, and Certificate II Tourism and Travel. We congratulate Millie on her achievements.

As Year 12 is nearing the completion of their formal studies, I would like to draw your attention to a group of students who have successfully completed the first year of their apprenticeship/traineeship whilst also achieving their HSC. These students have been able to combine part time work with TAFE and studies at school. Congratulations to the following Year 12 School Based Apprentices and Trainees -
Addison Cawley - Stella Maris Aged Care
Harrison Daley - Cowan Electrical
Lara Duffy - Kareena Private Hospital
Molly Fleming - BAE Hairdressing Salon
Laila Hagan - Stella Maris Aged Care
Abbey Ramsay - Kareena Private Hospital
Mia Ann Russell - Kareena Private Hospital
Cooper Sanders - Kingfisher Building
Matilda Thearle - Sydney Health
Tahu Vanzino - JC Hayes Construction
Hunter Vella - Lifestyle Building & Design
