Making Mountains

Year 7 and 8 Humanities classes this semester are all about geography.
This term, our Year 7s have been learning about the management of our most precious resource, water. Our Year 8s have been learning about mountain and coastal landscapes. Pictured are students reading topographic maps to create 3D models of a mountain landscape. Term 4 will be jam packed with geography fieldwork related to liveability and urbanisation.
To support fieldwork and getting our students out of the classroom and into the world, we will soon send reminders to parents to please confirm consent for all local walking excursions. This is a blanket consent form that covers all lower risk excursions in our local area.
