State Standouts

MGSC is very proud of the eight students that competed at the State Schools Victoria Cross Country State Finals in July. Representing their school were:

• Pearl Becker and Zoe Hayden (Year 7) 
• Amy Joy Duncan, Bahya Hamada, Dylan McGeoch, Chilli Nowak and Charlotte Read (Year 8) 
• Cassie Servadei (Year 9) 

The results were impressive as was their commitment and performances, competing against 60 runners in each age section.  

Amy Joy Duncan came 4th in the 14 Years Girls race. 

Cassie Servadei was first, taking the Gold and State title in the 15 Years Girls division. 

Congratulations to our students on a fantastic season. A special shout-out to the families that have supported these athletics by transporting and attending events across Melbourne. It is much appreciated.
