Frankston Train Line Disruptions

Metro Trains advises that buses will replace trains on the Frankston Line between 8.30pm Monday18 August to last service Thursday 28 August with varying stations and sections impacted. 

Buses replace trains on sections of the Frankston and Stony Point lines between: 

·  Cheltenham, Frankston and Stony Point, from 8:30pm Monday 18 August to 8.30pm Friday 22 August. 

·  Caulfield, Frankston and Stony Point from 8.30pm Friday 22 August to last service Sunday 24 August. 

·   Cheltenham, Frankston and Stony Point from Monday 25 August to 8.30pm Tuesday 26 August.

·  Moorabbin, Frankston and Stony Point from 8.30pm Tuesday 26 August to last service Thursday 28 August. 

This will especially impact students that travel to and from MGSC by train from Tuesday 19 August to Thursday 28 August. Please plan your travels to accommodate delays on public transport or due to additional traffic on the roads.

Train Replacement Buses for Students after School 

Designated replacement buses will be provided for MGSC students after school during this period. The buses will leave from Gate 3 stopping at Mentone (TBC), Parkdale and Mordialloc. At Mordialloc students transfer to the general service to travel further south. Metro Trains have been advised that Thursday 28 August is an early finish for PTS Interviews.

Moorabbin Police has advised of an upcoming operation targeting e-scooters and e-bikes.The attached flier explains the current road safety rules.
