Vale Ross Williams 

Ross Williams, Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes, Bayswater died suddenly on Monday evening, August 31, 2026, during the first night of a school camp. His passing has come a huge shock to his school and the wider Bayswater Community.  Ross was farewelled by family, friends and colleagues earlier this week in an absolutely huge funeral.

His principal Colleagues gathered today for a mass at St Patrick's Lilydale to remember Ross as a significant educational leader, valued colleague and a dear friend for us all.  See a couple of photos below of Ross from our 2023 Indigenous Immersion and 2025 Pilgrimage.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
