Year 10 History - Holocaust Excursion

Our Year 10 History class deepened their understanding of the Holocaust, its impact and the legacy of survivors on their excursion on 9th May.  Students watched a documentary at Classic Cinemas before visiting the Melbourne Holocaust Museum, where they took a guided tour through the 'Everybody Had a Name' exhibition before engaging with an artefact enquiry workshop. The students were also lucky enough to hear from a Holocaust survivor about their experience and asked insightful questions to make the most of the opportunity. The students represented themselves and the College perfectly throughout the day, showing respect and empathy toward the topic and all of the facilitators.
