Chocolaterie Excursion
The VCE Unit 1&2 Business Management class recently visited the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. Our students enjoyed learning about the chocolate making process and hearing about how factors from the external environment impact the business. In preparation for an upcoming unit of work, they also learnt about the marketing strategies used by this business to attract and retain customers. We then had the opportunity to taste test a range of different chocolates, decorate a chocolate disc to take home and enjoy an ice cream against the gorgeous backdrop of the Yarra Valley. This excursion was a great opportunity for students to learn how a local business is impacted by the external factors that we’re currently learning about in class.
