Year 8

Police Guest Speaker

On 1st of May, Constable Peter Williams met with the Year 8 cohort to discuss E-Safety. Some things he mentioned in his presentation were: how to safely communicate online, how to enjoy your time online, to never trust anyone online and being aware about stranger danger at all times. Along with the great presentation, he also provided us with examples, stories and videos. It was extremely considerate of him to take time out of his day to educate our school community about how to be safer online.

Pizza Lunch - Chronicle Celebrations

On 1st of May we had a pizza lunch. This was a celebration for the top 24 green chronicle earners in Year 8 from last term.   We had Domino’s pizza which was delicious. We had music playing and some of the pizza flavours were: Hawaiian, Margherita, Pepperoni, and Vegetarian (which was spicy).   Thanks to the Liaisons/Learning Leader!!    The Year 8’s felt really proud that we got to celebrate.
