Athena Algizakis

This month we’re seeing all of our course guides being updated for 2026 university and TAFE courses. Come along to the library to find out what courses are being offered and their prerequisites by grabbing a new course guide. Note that all course guides can also be downloaded from the relevant institutions website if you would like a copy or can’t find the one you want.

Congratulations to our Year 10 students who recently completed work experience. We had some amazing feedback from employers saying our students were kind, enthusiastic and some really got into the experience by being given opportunities to do the work. Some of our students even had job offers they were that impressive! Well done Year 10's!

This term and in Term 3 we will also start to schedule and conduct individual career counselling to Year 12's. Where possible we will schedule these in a study period but as we have many to do, some will be scheduled in study periods in P1 or P4 please ensure you attend, we want to help you with your pathways post Year 12.

More on all of this below, with a smattering of careers events to help you to decide on your first career move.   Any questions? Just let me know. Parents are also welcome to call any time.
