WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE

This year the SRC organised our school to take part in the World's Greatest Shave to help beat blood cancer.

The goal was to raise $1,000 and we are HAPPY to announce we raised a total of $1,250 from donations through our page on Leukaemia Foundation's 'World's Greatest Shave' website.

To help support the cause, on Thursday 20 March at lunchtime, students and staff had the opportunity to have their heads shaved or have hair chalk or glitter applied.

Jenson Barry, Year 12 Captain, was the MC for the event and did a fabulous job, getting the crowd involved in supporting those who were having their heads shaved or coloured.

A big SHOUT OUT to Mr O'Neil, Jed Tatnall - Year 12, Bailey Dorney, and Ollie Garrett -Year 8 who were brave enough to have their heads shaved by Mr Huby and Year 11 student Corey Morton.

Thank you also to Mr Ward, who kindly donated $20 to have his hair coloured and to the students who had their hair coloured with chalk and glitter too.

A special mention must go to Bailey who raised a total of $150 and Ollie who raised $689. A FANTASTIC achievement from both boys. Congratulations and well done.
