YEAR 10 OUTDOOR EDUCATION CAMP

Glenelg River
As part of the Year 10 Outdoor Ed course, a group of 19 students participated in a 5-day canoeing trip (March 17 to 21) down the Glenelg River, which provided them with an incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in nature while developing essential outdoor skills.
The breathtaking scenery and tranquil environment offered a unique backdrop for learning and personal growth.
During their time on camp, they practiced their skills in group management, cooking, personal responsibility, and risk management, all of which are crucial for building teamwork and leadership abilities.
Ultimately, this canoeing trip along the Glenelg River was not only about adventure and skill development but also about forging lifelong memories and friendships, as each student emerged more prepared for future challenges both in outdoor settings and in their everyday lives.
