PERFORMING ARTS (Drama)
We have had a busy couple of months in Performing Arts!
The Preps have been learning and performing various Nursery Rhymes and learning lines for their first play!
The Year 1s have been making animal puppets and learning how to improvise in acting.
The Year 2s made crowns and props to wear in a play and just completed a unit on bringing fairytales to life.
The Year 3 and 4s have been learning about characterisation, using voice and movement and are now combining all of these skills into Reader’s Theatre plays.
The Year 5 and 6 students have performed their Reader’s Theatre plays to the class and are now writing their own plays to perform, designing their own costumes and storylines!
