Captain's Corner

On Wednesday, the school captains attended the Prep information night and talked about what we like about school. Some of these things were leadership positions, athletics and specialists. We had a great time and hope all the upcoming prep parents love our school and we will enjoy seeing all the preps at any upcoming tours.

Hi, we’re the environmental leaders!

Last week we had an event called Earth Hour where students would spend one hour making a class collage out of leaves and sticks all while the screens and lights were off. We loved looking at all the finished collages and some  of our favorites were 5/6I and all of the 1/2s who chose to put the collages back into nature.

The main point of Earth Hour is to raise awareness about being environmentally friendly and nature loss.

Even though they are just a few leaves and sticks, small actions can make a BIG difference in the environment.

Thank you for reading, BYE!

Hi we’re the house captain heroes! Last week on Tuesday some of the year 3’s to 6’s went to the beautiful hanging rock for the 2nd round of our cross country. All the students that participated gave it their absolute best. There were still a lot of students that made it to the second round which will be held in Castlemaine on May 22nd. Congratulations, a big thank you to Mrs Connell, Mrs Minchew and Mrs Meggs. Also a big thank you to all the parents that helped cheer the runners on. Good luck to the runners going to the 2nd round of cross country. Well done to the people that got through Beau Chapman, Dom Humphries, Sonny Hunt, Zoe Cumming, Anouk Hoban, Archie Mcloud, Ari Cannons, Kian beigy, Arlo Sloojas and Daisy Hunt. You guys will do great!
