WPS Community Children’s Garden

Parent’s Garden Club (aka working bee)
Please join fellow volunteer parents for some not-so-kid-friendly jobs in the
WPS Community Children’s Garden,
9.30am -12.30pm, this weekend - Sunday 17 May.
Tasks:
• Replacing rotten seats in the outdoor classroom
• Servicing the wheelbarrows (fixing loose bolts & flat tyres)
• Emptying dirt from the “Look” sensory garden bed & refilling
• Removing the prickly boysenberry
• Making a path between the garden & storage shed
• and more…
BYO:
• Gardening gloves & appropriate clothes/shoes
• Shovels, secateurs & general garden tools
• Some hand tools to fix the wheelbarrows (if you want to take on this job)
• Smiling face & enthusiasm to pitch in
Kids are welcome.
Feel free to bring a snack and drink to take a break from all the hard yakka.

| BYO: | Bring your enthusiasm and desire to pitch in (No gardening know how needed). Please wear sturdy shoes, gardening gloves and weather appropriate clothing. Pre-school age children are welcome too |
