SCHOOL ACCOUNT STATEMENTS

On Tuesday this week, school account statements were issued to all families via email. If you did not receive an email, please contact the school as your email address may need correction. Every family should receive a statement, even if there is a NIL balance owing.

All charges and payments made to date were included, so parent payments for Curriculum and Non-Curriculum Contributions, plus Building & Library Fund, are listed. If you believe you have paid for something and it isn’t showing, please contact the office.

Any amounts shown with a negative, are credits on your account, which could be a refund, SSB, CSEF or a prepayment and can be used for future events/charges.

Please contact the office if you have a query with anything listed.

AFTER SCHOOL MESSAGES - important

Please DO NOT send an email if you have a message for your child re their after-school arrangements. The person you are emailing might be absent that day or the message is not found in the school email in time to alert your child.

Please phone the school with all after school messages.

Students will be called to the office via the Public Address System at approx 3.25pm. Teachers have been asked to listen to the names called and ensure students required are made aware, especially the younger children. For messages received from parents/guardians after 3.25pm, every effort will be made to locate students and advise them, however this is not always possible.

CONTACT WITH TEACHERS

During class time (bell times listed below) teachers are busy teaching. If you need to make contact with a teacher by phone, please do so during other than class time. eg. - before and after school or recess or lunch breaks. Alternatively, your call can be put through to the teacher’s voicemail where you can leave a message or you are welcome to send an email via the school email woodend.ps@education.vic.gov.au . The school email is checked at least once a day, but if the matter is more urgent or time critical, please phone the office.

Parents are reminded that emails should remain appropriate and respectful and that a response may not be forthcoming for 24 hours. Staff are not required to reply out of school hours and certainly not over the weekend. Your cooperation in this regard is appreciated.
