Library
All students and staff can borrow from our College Library. Student loans are for 2 weeks, and they can borrow up to 10 items. Each book is stamped in the back with the date it is due to be returned. 2 days before the due date, the student will receive a friendly reminder to their school email.
If the book remains overdue, the process is as follows:

| 62+ | 3rd overdue letter printed and delivered to student (in person or posted) |
| 70+ | Email to English teachers |
| 93+ | Email to parents |
| 150+ | Printed letter posted home to parents |
| 165+ | Book is marked as lost and replacement charge applied to family account |
If a student has lost a library book, they won't always be charged for it, only if the book is new, popular or part of a series. If they let the library staff know, we can make arrangements around this.
Logging in to see borrowing details
Students can log in to the library catalogue via the Student Dashboard (check the desktop on their computer for the Dashboard icon), or from any device connected to the internet via this link Welcome | Accessit Library Web App.
From here they can log in
- choose Sign in via SSO (blue button) under 'Guest'
- use school email address and password
Students can see what they have borrowed, when it's due and can renew loans themselves from this page. They can also browse the catalogue and reserve books.
