Sustainable Living Webinar Series 2026

Gippsland residents are invited to take part in the Sustainable Living Series 2026, a free year‑long program of online webinars designed to help households cut energy costs, improve comfort, and reduce their environmental impact. Presented by independent experts from non‑profit organisation Renew, the series covers practical topics including solar, home batteries, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, sustainable design and renter‑friendly upgrades.

The first two sessions ‘Introduction to Solar’ and ‘Home Battery Storage’ have already taken place with attendees gathering at the Bairnsdale Library to enjoy the webinar together, share ideas, and ask questions over a cuppa as part of the Libraries After Dark program.

Participants can continue to attend online or join upcoming sessions at the Bairnsdale Library.

All sessions run 7.00 PM – 8.30 PM and include Q&A with technical experts, on the following Thursday evenings:

  • All‑Electric Homes – 26 March
  • Electric Vehicles – 16 April
  • Winter Comfort at Home – 18 June
  • Winter Comfort for Renters – 9 July
  • Finding a Sustainable Team – 30 July
  • Designing for Resilience – 13 August
  • Sustainable Building Materials – 27 August
  • Water and Greening – 10 September
