Royal South Street Speech and Drama

Last week, our Year 7 and 8 and Open Improvisation teams proudly represented Loreto at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod, competing in the 3-Minute Improvisation and Death in a Minute sections.

Our students demonstrated creativity, quick thinking and wonderful teamwork as they embraced the challenge of performing spontaneously and supported one another throughout each performance.

Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic effort! 

Arts Festival

On Tuesday 18 August, our students were busy rehearsing and preparing to take the stage for Arts Festival 2026: A Night with the Stars! 

It was a wonderful showcase of The Arts at Loreto, with a diverse range of performances taking to the stage throughout the evening. From classic songs to much-loved movies, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge congratulations to all our talented performers, and to everyone behind the scenes who helped bring this spectacular evening together.

St Patrick’s Cathedral Choral Scholarships

The St Patrick’s Cathedral Choral Scholarships provide $1000 per annum for Catholic and other students with musical aptitude to sing regularly at the Cathedral. They have a focus on traditional styles of sacred music, musical and faith formation and also visit and sing in other Cathedrals. They are currently recruiting new Choral Scholars. 

If you are a parent of a student with musical ability aged between Grade 3 and Year 9, you are invited to apply for a Choral Scholarship:
