Year 3 Gardening

This term the Year 3 students are participating in the weekly gardening program instead of the Year 4 students who are busy having Science lessons.

Below is an article written by The Sassy Salads from Year 3A.

We enjoy our gardening session first thing in the morning as it's a wonderful way to start the day, it's fun and a great way for us to get active. We do gardening because it's good for the plants and worms and if we didn't do gardening the plants would die. Keeping the soil clean and tidy will help the worms to be strong and healthy. Gardening is great way to get fruit and vegetables without paying and we can sell our produce to the school community and use the money to buy more plants for our garden.
