Stella Maris Aussie Icons Trivia Night - Thank you!
Drumroll please...Our Stella Maris Aussie Icons Trivia Night raised an incredible $7,016.36!
What a night! As President of the Parents & Friends Committee, I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who supported our Trivia Night. It was a fantastic evening, and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves while raising valuable funds for our school.
Firstly, I would like to extend my deepest thanks to our incredible Trivia Night Subcommittee. Every one of you gave countless hours behind the scenes, often doing far more than anyone ever saw. There were meetings, planning, problem-solving, last-minute changes, setting up, packing down and so many little jobs that made the night such a success. This event simply would not have happened without your passion, teamwork and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Lauren Stevenson, owner of Niche Property, Major Gold Sponsor for the evening.She not only helped to secure other sponsorships, but stepped into the spotlight as one half of our hilarious Kath & Kim duo. Lauren's creativity, humour and leadership helped make the evening unforgettable.
Jen Willian, who perfectly complemented Lauren as the other half of Kath & Kim, locked in the venue and planned and delivered an entertaining Aussie-themed trivia competition using Kahoot, keeping everyone laughing and engaged throughout the night.
Simone Kerley, dressed as a shark, organised catering, created decorations and managed all the ‘boring’ but necessary admin that goes on behind the scenes. Simone's contribution was simply invaluable.
Cat Costa, who embraced her role as Kylie Mole with enthusiasm, helped host the evening and worked tirelessly liaising with vendors for donations and organised the wrapping of prizes and gifts that added so much excitement to the event.
Katie Corr, who helped bring the evening's atmosphere to life by organising the music and liaising with vendors for donations.
While I've highlighted some of the roles each person played, the reality is that every member of this subcommittee contributed well beyond these responsibilities. You all rolled up your sleeves, supported one another and worked together as a true team. Thank you for your generosity, commitment and friendship throughout the planning process.
One of my personal highlights of the evening was the live auction. Seeing our community bid so generously in support of our school was something truly special (and quite funny).

Your enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to pitch in are what made this event such a success.
Fundraising events like these are about so much more than the money raised. They strengthen friendships, build connections, create treasured memories and enrich the wonderful community we all love.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making our Aussie Icons Trivia Night such a memorable evening. I already can't wait to see what we achieve together next.
