Extra Curricular Activities

Extra-Curricular Clubs – Term 3

In Term 3, we are excited to offer a number of extra-curricular activities for our students during lunchtime. These clubs are voluntary and provide students with wonderful opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills and connect with others outside the classroom.

Participation in clubs can help students to:

  • build friendships and strengthen their sense of belonging within our school community;
  • develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills;
  • discover and nurture new talents and interests;
  • increase confidence and independence; and
  • engage in enjoyable activities that support their overall wellbeing.

One of the exciting opportunities available this term is our Chess Club, which is fully funded by the school and open to students in Years 1–6

Please see the details below:

  • Time & Day: 1:25 PM - 2:15 PM on Thursdays. Students are welcome to bring their lunch to chess.
  • Start & Finish Dates: First chess class is on Thursday 23rd July and last chess class will be on Thursday 10th September.

We have introduced a Library Club in the library on Wednesday lunchtimes with Mrs Graham, providing students with a relaxed and engaging space to share their love of books, develop their reading skills and foster a lifelong enjoyment of literature.

We are also pleased to share that the Art Club will continue in Term 3, led by Mrs O'Sullivan. Art Club will be held each Tuesday at recess, giving students another opportunity to express their creativity, develop artistic skills and enjoy working alongside peers who share a passion for art.

Also, the Choir is on Tuesday during Recess and Lego Club at lunchtime.

We are excited to see our students embrace these opportunities and enjoy all that our extra-curricular program has to offer.
