This Term the SRC organised Talent Night, which was a huge success, raising $1360. There was a wide range of student talent, with acts including original songs, bands, a piano solo and a variety of dances.

Congratulations to the prize winners:

• First Prize: Nina Buchler (Year 11) — wowed everyone with her guitar skills and two original songs
• Second Prize: Ebony Ting-Ntimih (Year 11) — performed an amazing jazz dance
• Third Prize: Ocean Premkumar, Sam Blackley, Patrick McLoughlin (Year 11), and Spandan Carpenter (Year 10) — thrilled the crowd as 4cast with a cover of a Kanye West song
• People’s Choice Award: Monet O’Keefe and Koko De Guzman (Year 11) — delivered a fantastic performance of Super Bass by Nicki Minaj

The SRC also organised a Footy Colours Day which raised money for the charity FightMND. There was a students vs teachers game of footy at lunchtime, where students took home the W. After the game, several brave teachers volunteered to take part in a mini ‘Big Freeze’ event, and were dunked with ice buckets.
