This has been a very successful term of sport with our Winter Round Robin events, Cross Country event, and Athletics carnival.
Cross Country: Congratulations to all who participated and to our Age Champions below.

Congratulations to Byran House who were the winners of the day with 44 points! Second place was Milton on 41 points, third place was Keats on 34 points, and fourth place was Lawson on 31 points.
After our school event, we took 77 students to attend the Division Cross Country at Karkarook Park. Overall it was a very successful day with 12 students making it to the Southern Metro Region Cross Country (Marlo Bee, Kai Cadusch, Thorion Del Rosario, Portia Della-Porta, Frida Lauw, Alfie Lovenich, Markus Norbury, Harriet Palmer, Tabitha Sheedy, Felix Stevens, Zahra Stevens, and Jasper Tolley).
All participated well and battled hard against the harsh elements. Huge congratulations to Alfie Lovenich who placed in the top 15 and has qualified for State which will be held later in the year.
Athletics: Our Athletics carnival was also quite a big success with overall great participation by students. Well done to our House Captains for handing out timetable sheets and helping out our younger students. Big congratulations to the following students who were Age Champions for their age groups.

A big congratulation to Lawson House who were the winners of the day with 493 points! Second place was Byron with 480 points, third place was Milton with 381 points, and fourth place was Keats with 340 points.
Beachside Round Robin: Throughout the term, we have had many students attend and compete in the Winter Round Robin which consisted of the sports Netball, Aussie Rules, Badminton, Soccer, Table Tennis, and Basketball. Absolutely fantastic to see so many students having a go at the different sports and participating to the best of their abilities. Term 3 will be students in 7-10 years last opportunity to participate in the round robins this year. Term 3 sport options will include basketball, table tennis, hockey and futsal.
The Elwood College Basketball Academy (ECBA): The EBCA is open for mid-year enrolment. If your student-athlete has been considering participation in the Basketball Academy, click here to register NOW!
Academy fees will automatically be reduced to reflect a half year program and new athletes will be placed in Academy groups that support friendship connections, skill and year levels. All program inclusions including inter-academy tournaments are part of the second semester Basketball Academy activities so enroll now and don’t miss out on the fun.
