Outdoor Education Tent Pitching

Year 10 Outdoor Education students were hard at work on the school oval, transforming the open grass space into a mini campsite as they prepare for their upcoming adventure to Wilsons Promontory. With teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of laughter on display, students practised pitching tents against the clock, learning how to choose suitable ground and work efficiently as a team.

The session-built confidence and practical skills essential for camping to ensure that everyone feels prepared and capable before heading off to explore the stunning coastal landscapes and rugged bushland of ‘the Prom’. Excitement is building as students take another step toward an unforgettable outdoor experience.
