Brighton Secondary College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Year 9 student Ada, who has recently been crowned the Under-16 Victorian High Jump gold medallist.

This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to Ada’s dedication, discipline and commitment to her training. High jump is a highly technical and demanding event, requiring not only athletic ability but also focus, resilience and confidence – qualities that Ada consistently demonstrates both on and off the field.

This success builds on an already impressive list of achievements, including being named our Individual Athlete of the Year in 2025. To see Ada continue to excel at such a high level is incredibly exciting for our school community.

We are proud to support students who pursue excellence in their chosen fields, and Ada’s achievement reflects the strong sporting culture at Brighton Secondary College. Her determination and work ethic serve as an inspiration to her peers, showing what is possible through persistence and passion.
