Swing Band First Performance
If you are looking for a great day out and a way to support our school swing band, head off to the Paynesville Classic Boat Rally. The Swing band will be performing next to McMillan Straight on Sunday 1st March at 1.00 pm. There are a few new students in the swing band who have already settled into rehearsals on Monday afternoons.

New Students
New enrolments into the music program have been fantastic this year. Our information evening saw the music centre full of interested students who all signed up to learn an instrument. Lessons started this week and we would like to congratulate all the new students on their ability to check Compass, find the music centre and attend their first lesson.
There are still places available for students who would like to join in. We are particularly interested in finding students wanting to learn flute and trombone but are happy to discuss options. Students are encouraged to go over to the music centre during break time to speak with teachers there.

Valentines Day Concert - Cody
We would like to congratulate Cody on his wonderful performance at the Valentines Day concert at the weekend in St Mary’s Church. Cody was invited to perform alongside local and other singers and the Gentleman’s Choir in a concert leading up to the Opera by the Lakes.
