Social & Fundraising Committee News

Bunning Sausage Sizzle

Our Bunnings Mentone Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser was an incredible success, raising an amazing $7,000+ for our school community!

A huge thank you goes to our dedicated Social and Fundraising Team, along with all of the wonderful parent volunteers who generously gave up their time to help make the day such a success. From setting up early in the morning, cooking hundreds of sausages, serving customers with a smile, and packing down at the end of a long day, your hard work, enthusiasm and teamwork were truly appreciated.

We would also like to thank our school community and everyone who stopped by to support the fundraiser throughout the day. The support shown was outstanding and highlights the strong sense of community we are so lucky to have at Le Page Primary School.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the purchase of new outdoor tables and bench seating for students to enjoy during recess, lunch breaks and outdoor learning activities. These additions will help create more welcoming and comfortable outdoor spaces for our students to connect, collaborate and enjoy time with their peers.

Thank you again to everyone involved in making this fundraiser such a memorable and successful event! 🌭🎉

Mother's Day Stall

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing Social and Fundraising Dad, Garry, for all of the hard work, time and effort he put into organising our Mother’s Day gifts and coordinating the planning of this year’s Mother’s Day Stall. Events like these take an enormous amount of organisation behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for his dedication and support of our school community.

A big thank you also goes to all of our wonderful families and community members who generously donated items for the stall. Your kindness and contributions helped make the event such a special experience for our students.

To all of the parent helpers who volunteered their time to assist throughout the stall — thank you! From setting up, helping students shop, wrapping gifts and serving with a smile, your support ensured our students were able to enjoy a fun and memorable shopping experience for their mums and special people.

At Le Page Primary School, we truly do have the most supportive and caring community. It is always so special to see our families, staff and volunteers come together to create opportunities like this for our students. These events are about so much more than gifts; they help build community connections, create excitement and give students a sense of independence as they thoughtfully choose something special for someone they love. There is something incredibly meaningful about receiving a gift that a child has carefully selected for themselves.

We hope all of our mums, grandmothers, carers and special people had a wonderful Mother’s Day and enjoyed being celebrated by their children. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a success 💐💝
