Division Athletics- Bendigo

DIVISION ATHLETICS – BENDIGO

On Monday, five of our wonderful LPS athletes competed at the Division Athletics in Bendigo. To say the day was successful is quite the understatement. Kaylee from 4/5W competed in shot put, high jump and the 4 x 100m relay and finished with a blue ribbon in all events. Emma from 4/5C competed in the 1500m and the 4 x 100m relay coming 2nd in her run and received a blue ribbon for her efforts in the relay team. Abby VB competed in the long jump and the 4 x 100m relay, winning in both events. Lucy in 4/5W received a first for her throw in discus. Finally, Poppy F was our fourth member of the 4 x 100m relay team who came in first!

We are so very proud of these students who displayed everything we expect from a member of our school. They competed well, showed respect and had so much fun doing it all…. Congratulations!! 

Also, a big thank you to the families who came along for the day to show their support for the competitors! 

The next event will be held at the same venue in Bendigo early next term. We want to wish these wonderful students the very best and to remember to enjoy these moments!
