Year 2/3

As we reach the end of Term 3, it’s a wonderful time to celebrate all the learning and achievements from this term. Our knowledge-building topic for the second half of the term was Earth and the Solar System. Students have enjoyed exploring the planets, the moon, astronauts, and the mysteries of space.

The highlight of the unit was our excursion to the Bendigo Discovery Centre last week. Students experienced the wonder of the planetarium, where we travelled through the stars and deep into space. The vertical slide, with its 7.2m drop, was another unforgettable moment! Some very brave students conquered the challenge, while others enjoyed cheering their classmates on.

The day was filled with excitement as students explored all the other activities the centre had to offer. It was a fantastic way to bring our learning to life, and we are so proud of the curiosity and enthusiasm shown by all.

We look forward to another term of learning and adventures ahead!
