VISUAL ART

In the Art Room, students have been finishing and beginning a variety of projects that showcase both imagination and skill. We have, a clutch of chickens forming and sunflowers are coming into full bloom, while our hallways proudly display an array of feathered, finned, scaled, and ferocious animals created throughout the term. Some of these works may also make their way home in your child’s school bag this week or early next term. Please take the opportunity to celebrate their creativity by asking about their imaginative processes.
This term, students have also shown success in understanding their responsibility for maintaining organisation and care for our resources. They have embraced the introduction of monitors with specific roles, recognising how these systems help the art room run smoothly. We are excited to carry this positive energy forward and can’t wait to see what our budding artists will manifest after a well-deserved break.
