SAKG 1C and 6J

 

In the kitchen, we have prepared, cooked and shared:

  • Indian yellow rice

  • Saag bhaji

  • Salad of the imagination

  • Banana bread muffins

  • Wattleseed pikelets- 1C only

  • Quinoa salad with beetroot, feta and baby spinach

  • Warrigal greens crackers

  • Mushroom, potato and kale frittata

  • Gnocchi with sage butter sauce - 6J only

  • Spinach dumplings with dipping sauce – 6 J only

In the garden, both classes have:

  • Planted seeds in trays and directly into garden beds

  • Planted seedlings of sugar snap peas and broad beans 

  • Raked leaves to add to our compost bins

  • General maintenance of the garden beds such as weeding

  • Harvested herbs, silverbeet and warrigal greens
