Extra Curricular Programs

NEW AFL Academy – Term 2

BSC is partnering with Strive Academy with the aim of offering a professional AFL development program to our students. We hope to run both a Junior and Senior program, one day per week before school in Term 2. This will initially run as a 6-week program which could be extended if successful. We will need a minimum of 20 students per session to progress. 

More details:

• Six week program (six sessions) aiming to start in Week 2 of Term 2
• Years 7-9 Monday mornings 7:30am - 8:30am
• Years 10-12 Wednesday mornings 7:30am - 8:30am
• $200 per child for the six week program (but would need minimum of 20 students to participate)
• We would have two staff per session (can provide more if numbers require this)
• Sessions would incorporate footy skills with some strength and conditioning

BSC Basketball Academy 

Our basketball academy in partnership with Chase Basketball continued to go from strength to strength throughout 2025 and we are once again offering the program to all BSC students in 2026 and beyond. The academy provides our students with an avenue to pursue professional sports coaching and inter-school competition, while learning how to live our school values through sport and competition.
