Music

Last term our Solo Performance Evening was a wonderful success. It is such an excellent opportunity for our students to show their hard work and dedication, and it is always so pleasing to see the growth in our students from year to year. The way that the students support and celebrate each other makes us proud.

The Spring Arts Gala was another wonderful evening celebrating Art and Tech. We had performances from primary students just beginning their musical journeys, and some from senior students to a very high calibre. Congratulations to all our performers and a huge thank you to the staff and everyone who helped make the event such a success. We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved!

Symphonic Soul played at the all school assembly for farewelling our Y12 students and were a highlight. They played wonderfully and stretched out with some outstanding individual solos.

Our Music and Drama students recently had the exciting opportunity to attend a performance of SIX the Musical. This fantastic experience allowed students to see live theatre at its best, showcasing incredible vocal performances, choreography, storytelling and stage production. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to gain inspiration, broaden their understanding of musical theatre and experience the creativity and talent that goes into bringing a production to life. We hope they enjoyed this memorable experience and can take inspiration from it into their own music and drama studies!

We would like to say a big thank you and farewell to our outgoing Music Captain, Liam J. Thank you to Liam for being a fantastic leader in their role as music captain. Liam will be missed and we thank him for all he has done as well as the legacy he leaves. We wish him all the best in the future.

We would also like to welcome our new Music Captain Daniel E!
