Celebrating Our Year 12 Students

It has been a special few weeks for our graduating Year 12 students, with the Valedictory Dinner, Year 12 Retreat and Leaving Assembly providing wonderful opportunities to celebrate their journey through Macleod College.

Our Valedictory Dinner was a fantastic evening, bringing together students, families and staff to recognise the achievements and milestones of our graduating class. I would like to thank our Senior School team and all staff involved in organising and supporting these memorable occasions.

A special congratulations to our 2026 Valedictorian, Eliza Bennett, on this well-deserved recognition. This is a wonderful achievement and a fitting acknowledgement of Eliza's contribution to Macleod College.

College Highlights

Our Spring Arts Gala was another fantastic celebration of student creativity and talent. It was wonderful to see students showcasing their work and performances, reflecting the strength of our Music and Arts programs. Thank you to our dedicated staff for their work in bringing the evening together.

Across the College, students have also been actively involved in sporting competitions, excursions and learning experiences, including our Primary swimming program and Year 9 City Experience.

A special congratulations to Cooper, who represented Macleod College at the State Athletics Championships. Cooper achieved an outstanding 4th place in the triple jump and claimed 1st place in the long jump, becoming a State Champion! This is a fantastic achievement, and we congratulate Cooper on this wonderful success.

Congratulations to all students who have represented Macleod College in sporting competitions and demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship.

Looking Ahead

As we move further into Term 4, we are continuing our planning for 2027, with a focus on teaching and learning programs, student transitions and ensuring we are well positioned for the year ahead.

Thank you to our students, staff and families for their continued support and contribution to our College community. I look forward to celebrating more student achievements as we approach the end of the school year.
