Food Support in Local Areas

Dear families, 

I'd like to share with families a simple method of finding out how to access food support in your local residential area or within close proximity.

Step 1: go to foodbank.org.au/find-food

Step 2: Search your suburb or postcode

Step 3:  Choose the type of food you need - "Food and groceries to prepare" or "Meals prepared on site"

Step 4:  Choose a service from the list to find more information.

Simply go to foodbank.org.au/find-food and key in 3163 for Glen Huntly.

Home Food Packs available at GEC

The generous support of Foodbank Victoria continues to be the backbone of the success of the GEC Breakfast Club, providing much needed breakfast food items and healthy snacks for GEC students.  Home Food Packs are available to pick up from Glen Eira College, providing breakfast food items.  If you would like a Home Food Pack for each child, please let us know on 9571 7838 so that you can collect from the General Office.
