NAIDOC Week - 50 Years of Deadly
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. This year marks 50 years and the library is displaying posters over the last five decades and a book display.
Men’s FIFA World Cup
In celebration of the World Cup, we have put together a display and collection of great books featuring football/soccer.
CBCA Book Week 2026 - Symphony of Stories
Book Week is coming in Term 3 and we will be celebrating with lots of fun activities including an author talk to Year 7 - 9. All of the books in the Older Readers shortlist for the Book of the Year award are available to borrow from the library.
Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

My Brother Jack Awards - Glen Eira Council
The Awards recognise the outstanding literary achievements of people who live, work or study in Glen Eira. Prizes are awarded for short stories and poetry in the categories of Primary; Junior Secondary; Senior Secondary; and Open. More information can be found here. Closes 13th July.
