Sacraments

This year we have four students receiving a sacrament, Amelia, Olivia, Xavier and Louisa.

Like all our students, they have been learning about sacraments in class and have attended family sessions at St Mary's in Mt Evelyn throughout May.

Friends are welcome to attend the sacramental services

Xavier, 1st Communion, Saturday June 13, 5.00pm at St Mary's Mt Evelyn

Olivia, 1st communion, Sunday June 21, 10.30am at St Mary's Mt Evelyn

Amelia, Confirmation, Wednesday June 24, 7.00pm at St Mary's Mt Evelyn

Pentecost in the F/1/2

The Foundations, 1's and 2's made Pentecost wands to celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the church.  The symbols on the wand are the flame - that settled above the apostles head at the first Pentecost, the dove - a common sign of the Holy Spirit and the tails of colour to symbolise the wind.
