News from Year 5/6
SOVEREIGN HILL CAMP!
We are looking forward to going to camp, here is what some of us are feeling excited about:
Kade: I'm excited about the lolly shop!
Joe: I am looking forward to going to bed at camp and lying there till 1 am and then falling asleep!
Jayden: I am looking forward to going to the lolly shop and buying heaps of lollies.
Quinn: I am excited to go to the lolly shop and to be with my friends and talk and sleep in a bunk room.
Henry: I am looking forward to the light show and just seeing what it's like in the 1800's.
Liliana: I am looking forward to going gold panning and learning about the places my mum went to when she was little.
Parker V: The best thing about camp will be doing all the activities and hanging out with mates.
Lacey: I am excited to be in a cabin with my friends and the fun activities there.
Cooper: I am looking forward to bowling at camp. It will be fun and harder than normal bowling because it's different.
Parker H: I will enjoy being at camp with my friends.
Bennett: I am looking forward to camp because I want to learn more about what happened in the past and the activities seem fun.
Amelia: I think the best thing will be sleeping in the cabin with my friends because it is like a big sleepover, and also seeing lots of horses.
Zac: I am looking forward to seeing all the show that shows the hotel burning and all the things that happened.
Will: I think camp will be really fun because I am excited about gold panning, going to the lolly shop, and bowling and finding the rooms.
Noah: I am looking forward to hanging out with my friends, going to the gift shop and all the activities
Samson: At camp, I am looking forward to the light show, bowling, and the raspberry drops.
Blake: I am looking forward to the night show and the candle making and the gold panning.
Ollie: I am looking forward to the lollies and the gift shop and I am really looking forward to candle dipping and gold panning. Hopefully I will get the top bunk.
Archer: The best thing about this trip will be getting to camp and doing the gold panning, and the night tour.
Maddi: The thing I am looking forward to the most is the gold panning. I really hope I get some gold.
Aislin: I will be happy to stay with my friends on camp.

Our day at Mount Lilydale By Liliana
Our day was great, we arrived and got off the bus and went into the building, then we went to cooking, then went to art, and I made a custom bookmark with water colour, then I saw my cousin, and I didn't expect to see him, then we went home on the bus, and this was our day.

Today all the year 5’s got to go to Mount Lillydale to do some fun stuff, like Cooking, Science, Sports and Art. Me and my group got to do Sport and Art. In my group was Quinn, Arlo and Myself. In art we got to do some custom bookmarks that we got to take home. In sport we played like a Netball type of game but if you dropped the beanbag the next 5 people would go.
We ended up having a lot of fun in total.

This monday the 25th of may we went to mount lilydale school and when we got there the first thing we did was eat some fruit snack after that we had a play on the basketball court then we went into this big stage and the principal had a talk about what we had to do and what groups we had to go in then the first actual activity we did was art and we had to do water colouring with these little pictures on a piece of paper after that activity we had to do sport and it was octopus tag and then we played this other game it was kinda like netball but instead of a ball its a bean bag and you have to work with your team of 5 to get it into the hoop.

Today grade 5 got to go to to a secondary collage. When we got there we were split into groups. I went to wood works class in it, I made a door stop it could not be a door stop but it was cool. Then, we went out to play then after play i went in to science in it we made a laver lamp and elephant tooth paste.

On Monday the year 5’s went to mount lilydale mercy college. All of us got on the bus and left. When we got there we ate fruit snacks then walked into the hall there was an introduction then the 5’s got into groups. I was in a group with Archer and blake. We did woodwork and science.
