Pre- Primary Learning Update

The children in the pre-primary group continue to impress us with the depth of their learning, curiosity, and enthusiasm across all learning areas.

Our phonics sessions with Miss Emmett have been highly successful, with the children recently exploring the letters and sounds M, N, and O. It has been wonderful to see their growing confidence in recognising letters, identifying sounds, and applying this knowledge during everyday learning experiences.

In Physical Education, the children have been preparing for our upcoming Cross Country event. Over the past six weeks, they have demonstrated incredible perseverance and determination, gradually building their stamina from short runs to completing distances of up to 1 kilometre. We are extremely proud of their effort, resilience, and positive attitudes towards challenging themselves.

Science has focused on "The Body", and the children's knowledge and engagement have been outstanding. They can confidently identify and label body parts, while also demonstrating an understanding of the roles of several internal organs. Their curiosity and ability to extend their learning through discussions, questions, and connections to prior knowledge have been truly impressive.

We are so proud of the progress the children continue to make and look forward to seeing their learning grow even further throughout the term.
