Mobile Phones 

As part of our policy review cycle, School Council recently reviewed the Mobile Phones Policy, which is linked here and available on our school website.

We would like to draw families' attention to the use of smart watches at school. We understand that many students, particularly in Grades 5 and 6, make their own way to and from school each day, and we encourage this growing independence as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. Smart watches can provide an easy and safe way for families to stay connected with their children.

We ask that during school hours, smart watches are not used for messaging, phone calls, photography, internet access, or other communication functions, and that notifications are switched off. We encourage students to focus on learning, socialising with friends, and being present during class and break times without the distractions that personal devices can create.

If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call Reception on 9878 1730 and we will ensure messages are passed on promptly. Likewise, if students need to contact home, they can do so through the school office.
