Mental Health & Wellbeing Leader - Kate
Hi everyone,My name is Kate Molloy, and some of you may already know me from my previous roles at Mount Pleasant Road. This year I’m excited to be working as the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader (MHWL) on Tuesdays & Wednesday.
The MHWL role has lots of moving parts as you can see from the jigsaw, but my aim is to build on our school’s strong approach to wellbeing while continuing to refine and sustain this work. I support staff to identify and respond to student mental health needs, strengthen referral pathways within the school and to external services, and promote student voice and agency. You can learn more about the MHWL role here.
A key focus of my work is our whole school (Tier 1) approach to wellbeing, including the Zones of Regulation, Respectful Relationships, and consistent routines. All the things that support students to manage emotions, build relationships, and maintain wellbeing.
If you have any questions or would like to connect, please feel free to reach out.
