RYDA

RYDA Road Safety Day
On Wednesday, July 11th, our Year 11 students traveled to the Yanco Institute to participate in the RYDA Road Safety Day. This highly informative excursion provided students with a series of essential mini-lessons focused on the vital themes of road safety and personal responsibility. Delivered by a dedicated team of professionals—including local police officers, highway patrol, and local council staff—the sessions offered practical insights into the challenges of being a safe road user. Our students engaged deeply with the content, gaining a clearer understanding of how their decisions behind the wheel impact the broader community.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers and facilitators, Transport for NSW and Narrandera Shire Council who made this valuable learning experience possible.
A special thank you goes to Dave Kroek and Peter Davies for generously giving their time and support to ensure the excursion went ahead.
