Year 7 Camp

Billabong Ranch Echuca
From 4–6 March, our Year 7 students attended an exciting three-day camp at Billabong Ranch in Echuca. The camp provided a fantastic opportunity for students to build friendships, challenge themselves, and develop independence early in their high school journey.
Throughout the camp, students participated in a wide range of engaging activities designed to encourage teamwork, resilience, and fun. These included bush craft, rope work, and an adventurous scavenger hunt, where students worked together to solve clues and explore the grounds. Students also enjoyed hands-on experiences such as the animal walk and animal feeding, which were highlights for many.
Other popular activities included mini golf, bouldering, and archery, where students had the chance to test their coordination and persistence. One of the standout moments of the camp was the impressive fire twirling show, which captivated students and staff alike.
The camp was attended by staff members Joe Kelly, Kirsty Quilter, Ella Gruessing, and Jake Bailey, who were incredibly proud of how the students represented the school. The Year 7 cohort demonstrated excellent behaviour, supported one another, and embraced each activity with enthusiasm.
Overall, the camp was a wonderful success and a memorable experience for all involved. It was fantastic to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, forming new friendships, and creating lasting memories.
We would like to thank the staff at Billabong Ranch for providing such a well-organised and engaging program, and we look forward to many more opportunities like this for our students in the future.
