STRUCTURED WORKPLACE LEARNING

Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) has once again been a highlight of our VCE VM and VPC pathways program.

Students experience workplaces across a range of industries, including automotive, building, childcare, community services, and hospitality.

For many students, their SWL placement has been their first experience of a real workplace. These experiences have helped students develop confidence, communication skills, independence and an understanding of what employers expect.

One of the most rewarding aspects of SWL is seeing students return to the College and talk about what they have learned. Some discover that they have found an industry they are passionate about, while others gain a better understanding of what they may or may not want to pursue in the future.
