Perceptual Motor Program (PMP)

Our PMP (Perceptual Motor Program) will continue in Term 3 on Tuesdays at 2.30pm in the Stadium.

We recommend that the children wear tracksuit pants on Tuesdays to help with ease of movement during PMP.

A big thank you to all our parent volunteers this term. We can’t run PMP without you!

We will continue to need our parent volunteer team for the program next term – ideally 8 to 10 helpers each session. If you're interested, available and have fulfilled the requirements to be a volunteer at EHPS (hold a current Working with Children Check, signed the Child Safety Code of Conduct acknowledgement at the Office to confirm you understand and will adhere to EHPS Child Safe and Volunteer policies, and completed the OH&S induction for volunteers with Gabby at the Office), please let your child's classroom teacher know.

Swimming Program

The compulsory swimming program for Prep students is seven consecutive sessions in weeks 9 and 10 next term from Tuesday 8 September to Wednesday 16 September. Students will attend a 30 minute lesson each day at the Huntingtower Sports and Aquatic Centre (HSAC) Swim School in Mount Waverley.

The event notice will be published on Compass. Please process your consent and payment by the due date.

Please refer to the Swimming Program page in this newsletter for more detailed information, including a reminder to not order a Canteen lunch during the swimming program and provide extra brain food from home as the children get extra hungry.

Parent volunteers from each class are required to assist children get ready to return to school. Speak to your child’s teacher if you have completed the volunteer requirements and are available to assist.

Parents of Prep students are welcome to attend HSAC to watch their child's progress, but may not interact with their child at the pool and may not take photos or video.
