Unit Focus - ‘Protest Movements - Strength, Vision & Legacy’ 

This term we have started looking at the history of famous protest movements. Exploring places and events such as The Wave Hill Walkoff, Coranderrk, Cummeragunja and The Walk for Truth,   and influential figures such as William Barak, Simon Wongak, Sir Doug Nichols, Jack Patten, William Cooper. Vincent Lingiari, Charlie Perkins and Travis Lovett. We have taken a walk to The League (AAL) to see the legacy of some of these people and movements and in the next few weeks will continue to delve deeper into their stories - focusing on strengths, vision and legacy.
