Child Safety Standards

Spotlight on Child Safe Standard 9

“Physical and online environments promote safety and wellbeing while minimising the opportunity for children and young people to be harmed.ˮ

Child Safe Standard 9 focuses on how school environments; classrooms, playgrounds, excursions, camps, and digital spaces are designed, supervised, and used. When schools take a proactive approach to safety in all environments, children feel secure, confident, and supported to learn and grow.

This week our SRC will meet to review how well our school is currently meeting this standard from a student perspective, and will feedback to leadership on any areas we need to improve.
