ANYTHING BUT A BACKPACK DAY
SRC Fundraiser Day
Wednesday 4 September
Well done to the students who brought their books and laptops to school in 'Anything but a Backpack'!
Students in Years 7 to 12 demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness by carrying their resources in an array of unconventional items, ranging from a vending machine, sports bag, and a large pencil case to a bucket, swag, esky, wheelchair, and even a vacuum cleaner.
It was a sight to behold as the school buzzed with students using items such as a recycling bin, kids trike, witches traffic cone, briefcase, and even a Santa stocking!
The Student Representative Council (SRC) organised activities during recess and lunchtime, for students to WIN prizes!! These activities included guessing the weight of a backpack, tossing balls into a backpack, and guessing the contents of a backpack.
